QotD: Gold Medal Winner

In honor of the upcoming Olympics, what could you win a gold medal in?

Collecting crafting supplies!  I've been doing it for 35 years and have inherited quite a few from my mother and others as well. I'm slowly going through the supplies but keep buying more. It's a vicious cycle. ....And  I fear, I've passed on the gene to my own daughter.  It has given the two of us many fond memories and great times, and is something I've shared with my friends

I could medal in craft supply collecting, and general packratty-ness. Inherited from my Mom and my Grandmother.

There's nothing wrong with our 'affliction', many benefit from the fall-out. I actually started keeping a log/journal documenting what I make and where it all goes. It's interesting to go back a see just what I've maid over the past few years. I find it satisfying to share my talents with my friends also, I have single-handedly turned more than a few people on to sewing, stamping, scrapbooking, cross-stitching etc. I really should be getting a commission check from JoAnn's Fabric and Micheal's Crafts to name only a few ;).
